Press Coverage

AfriKids' Communications Team has grown in the last couple of years and as a result has earned more press coverage. With attention continually growing of our innovative approach to aid, events and partnerships we have developed an impressive portfolio of press coverage for a charity of our size. We have had considerable pro bono support from The Media Foundry and Taylor Herring for which we are truly grateful. 

The Telegraph, 2011 - 2012

AfriKids was lucky enough to be chosen as one of three charities to benefit from The Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal for 2011/2012. This partnership not only resulted in a cheque for £202,222.28 from The Telegraph's generous readers, it has also left us with nine beautifully written articles that capture our work in Ghana brilliantly. 

NOW Magazine, 2006

In January 2006 NOW Magazine ran an article on three inspirational young women who were doing charitable activities around the world. It featured our International Director, Georgie Fienberg (Georgie Cohen in the article).

In January 2006 YOU teamed up with Clarins to create an award for 'Most Dynamisante Woman of the Year' for the second year running. The previous year, our International Director, Georgie Fienberg was runner up for the award. They interviewed Georgie as an example.
